Course Description
Are you looking to upgrade your gel polish manicure, gel polish application and improve your gel polish treatments to become ‘up-to-date’ with today’s current gel polish trends and make your nails last for weeks, while looking amazing?
This Advanced Gel Polish course is often referred to as a ‘BIAB’, (Builder In A Bottle), in salons and also ‘Russian Manicure’/’Dry Manicure’. It is the most advanced training in the extremely popular gel polish treatment method.
It is a method of creating natural looking nails that last, with proper nail care, correct application and strength to protect the nails and give them superb and safe longevity by creating a natural looking ‘C-curve’ and correct apex placement in the gel polish application.
This type of course is addressed to anyone who has already completed their basic Gel Polish Manicure training, and knows how to work successfully and confidently with the Electric File, having completed the basic E-file course.
During this one-day course, you will learn how to choose the right e-file bits for specific types of nail plates and cuticles, and how to perfectly prepare the nails for flawless gel polish applications.
You will receive all the necessary information for performing thorough cuticle removal using scissors/nippers and the E-file.
Our master educators will show you in precise detail how to apply the gel polish colour ‘under’ the cuticles, and how to enhance the overall look and longevity of a gel polish nail with correct base application and also by applying the top coat to create the perfect and dreamy ‘light line’ reflection.
Also, you will learn how to fix a broken natural nail in gel polish treatments with the Kohana Pro Base Coat using a nail form, and how to properly perform ‘refills’ of a gel polish treatment.
By the end of the course you will feel highly skilled and accomplished in all things related to a gel polish, ‘BIAB’ treatment.
Students will receive recognised, Kohana Professional Certificates, by Kohana Professional upon successful completion of the course. The certificates are AIT (Associated Irish Therapists) accredited.
